Bunny update

Beatrix and babies are doing fine. These pictures are a few days old. The bunnies are even bigger and cuter now. Yesterday I seperated the babies to a new cage near enough Trix could still see them. Last night as I was just falling asleep I heard a thumping noise from the sunroom where the Bunnies reside. It was Trix lifting the top of her crate and letting it fall. I knew there would be no sleep for me until I returned the babies. Being a mother myself I felt bad for Trix. So, off I went to return the little ones and there was no more noise in the night.

BoyNamedSue builds Bionicle

Boy has been enjoying his Bionicle collection lately.

Great Beginnings

Today Pickle began his journey in reading. The younger three boys collect word families in a three ring binder as a way of learning phonics and sight reading. It has gone quite well with BoyNamedSue and Pudge. I can think of no greater gift to give your children than the ability to read.

Pudge has been busy with the Legos lately. He has a house and a flying ship to display in these pictures.

Projects

I am glad to be finished with the work on this white cotton afghan. I am actually keeping this one. The maroon doily was about finished when Don claimed it for his own. lol I really like the repition of crochet and knitting. It is very stress relieving.

Grunt is 19

Grunt celebrated his 19th birthday on June the 8th. He asked for homemade AngelFood cake as his birthday desert. SurelyMyth and Scatterbrain were happy to help him celebrate. Grunt has been a great addition to the Handbasket all these years.

New Arrivals

We had a birth in the Handbasket!!! A couple of weeks ago Beatrix had three babies. They are now moving around the crate with their eyes open. All three look like their mom and we hope they will have the lopped ears as she does. Nothing cuter than a baby bunny.

Outside Play

The boys had some time to play outside today. We have lots of outside toys to pick from. I am still amazed at their choices. Pudge and Pickle are in the video.
